One man, One Dream, One Detroit
When you hear the name Hoot McInerney, you think 'Detroit.' Much more than can-do spirit, much more than just the nebulous idea of the American Dream, Hoot McInerney was the essence of what made Detroit the greatest city in America.
As the middle son of Irish immigrants, the young boy started in the car business at the age of seven on the east side of Detroit and never, ever looked back. As the graduate of Southeastern High School he was from Detroit, lived Detroit, was Detroit. He was an icon in the auto industry, would tell it like it is and had a heart of gold. He also knew how to treat a customer and built businesses giving them a good deal and treating people with respect.
After starting in the car business at such a young age, eventually, his journey would take him right here to Star Lincoln where he instilled his philosophy of putting the customer above oneself to all of his employees.
At Star Lincoln, we were built by a legend and use all of Mr. McInerney's customer service philosophies to this day. That's how we came up with the idea of The Star Treatment.
Every customer, no matter their needs or budget, will get treated with the respect they deserve at Star Lincoln.
Whether they're looking at a Lincoln Navigator or the least expensive used car we've got on the lot, if you're a customer, you're our number one priority. So if you're from Southfield, Detroit, Livonia, West Bloomfield, Farmington, or anywhere else in Michigan and you want the Star Treatment, come on out to Star Lincoln. And if you haven't heard of Hoot McInerney, we'd be happy to tell you a few stories.
After all, he's a legend around these parts for a reason.
