A Film with Feeling

“At the core, Allumette is a very personal story about an orphan child and her relationship to her mother. She lights these matches and when she does, she gets to be transported back to a magical, happier time in her life. It’s a story about family love. It’s a story about sacrifice. It’s a story about mother’s love.”

The above reflects how Eugene Chung, founder and CEO of Penrose Studios describes Allumette, a short virtual reality film that premiered last month at the Tribeca Film Festival. Read the full Lincoln Now piece about the project, embedded above, to learn about how it was made.
