2022 Lincoln Corsair

The 2022 Corsair comes in three main trim levels: the base Standard trim, the midrange Reserve trim, and the top-of-the-line Grand Touring trim. At any trim, the Corsair manages to look both sleek and truck-like, so you'll feel like you're driving an SUV but get the sporty, luxurious appearance you want from a luxury vehicle. The base level features 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and a power liftgate. The Reserve beefs up the wheels to 19 inches and gives you upgraded exterior lighting features. At the Grand Touring level, you get a panoramic sunroof and unique styling and badging. The Sport Package nets you a sleeker grille and bumpers.

The first two trim levels come standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that nets 250 horsepower. You can choose to upgrade to a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four that gives you 295 horsepower with 310 pound-feet of torque or a plug-in hybrid engine that gives you 266 horsepower and is rated at an EPA-estimated 28 miles of all-electric driving range. The Grand Touring trim only comes with the hybrid engine.

The Corsair offers capable and athletic performance on the roads with solidly weighted steering that remains responsive even at highway speeds. There's little body roll thanks to the adaptive dampers. Braking is authoritative and confident, and the Corsair offers a powerful all-around driving experience.

The Corsair is an extremely comfortable vehicle. Dual-zone climate control works well throughout the cabin, and the optional adaptive suspension does a fantastic job of mitigating bumps and jars. The noise cancellation feature ensures a clean, quiet ride free of road noise. The seats are bolstered with plenty of padding and tons of range for front-seat adjustments. Storage-wise, you get a maximum of 57.6 cubic feet with the back seats down and 27.6 cubic feet behind the back row. The Corsair makes use of transmission keys that function as joysticks on the steering wheel, replacing old-fashioned push buttons. Technology-wise, it features the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system, one of the more well-regarded on the market. It offers standard smartphone integration, an available 14-speaker Revel audio system, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. You'll find tons of USB ports, as well as a wireless charging pad and even a three-prong household-style outlet. The soft-touch materials are of high quality throughout, exactly as you'd expect from a Lincoln.

Standard safety features include lane-departure and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alerts, and frontal emergency braking.
