Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival

If you like music, listen to wonderful live jazz performances at this award-winning outdoor two-day festival during August at the Southfield Municipal Campus. You can relax on your lawn chair while soaking up the beautiful music of a terrific line-up of local and national jazz musicians, which often includes Grammy Award winners and best-selling artists.

There will be food trucks, vendors selling boutique items, and other things to find at the festival. It’s held on August 11th and 12th and is free to attend. You can find Southfield Municipal Campus at 26000 Evergreen Road.

Southfield Gazebo Summer Concerts

There’s more fantastic outdoor summer music to be enjoyed with the Gazebo Concert Series in Burgh Historical Park at 26060 Berg Road. Over the course of three Tuesday evenings in July and August, you can have a picnic in lovely natural surroundings while listening to excellent soul and R&B music.

The performances are from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. It’s free to attend and there’s free parking too. Pack as many lawn chairs and picnic baskets as you like into the capacious 37.2 cubic feet cargo space of your luxurious new 2023 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve and drive to the concert in style.
